I wanted to give an update to let everyone know how the blood type diet is working for me, in case anyone out there is thinking about going on the diet.

As you know from reading my earlier post I was sick for a long time and started following my blood type diet.  I have been on this diet since Spring of 2011. I have to tell everyone that this is the best decision I have made in my life.  Since following this diet I have not been sick and feeling so much better than I was.

I am a very strong willed person and will admit sometimes it is hard when you have cravings for certain food.  I have and do cheat on occasion knowing I will pay the price for it later.  But that does not happen often and as time goes by it is less and less.  Once you get into a routine of what you should and should not eat, and after not eating certain things in a long time, you find that you no longer even like the taste of it anymore when you do eat it.  Also it becomes part of your every day life.

The bottom line for me is this, I feel great and I'm not sick all the time anymore. I have to say that the Blood type diet is the best thing for me.

If anyone out there is interested in the blood type diet and have any questions or concerns feel free to ask.
I am not an expert but I can tell you how it has worked for me.

Until next time, stay safe and keep smiling. Life is to short to sweat the small stuff.

Not A Good Day!!

I have to admit to everyone that sometimes I do the stupidest things. Yesterday I decided to make a Beef Roast.  I have not eaten beef in a very long time, because it is not part of my diet. However when we went grocery shopping it was on sale so I figured, why not. It was cheaper then what I usually buy. So for dinner we had roast and pasta salad.  It was very good, however, I had stomach pains later that night. Being that it was a huge roast there were left overs. So today for dinner I had warmed up roast and pasta salad.  It was even better tonight then last night.  However the outcome was much much worse.  Right after I finished eating, I had the worst pains, feeling like someone was stabbing my in the stomach and just twisting the knife around.

I sent my daughter a text message telling her to never let me eat beef again,  I think I would rather go hungry then to eat something I'm not suppose to ever again.

We all learn from our mistakes and I have to say that I learned a big lesson today.

Until next time stay safe

Diet Working

It has been some times since I have written. I have had a lot going on in my life. I want everyone to know that the Blood type diet is working so well for me. The only meat I eat is Turkey, and to be honest now that I have not eaten chicken, beef, etc.. I can not even stand the smell or taste of it anymore. There of course are times that I will slip up and eat something I shouldn't and I indeed pay for that. You don't ever realize how much something effects you when you were raised eating so many things without giving any of it any thought. I was very skeptical about the blood type diet and thought how can these foods be the reason I feel this way and am sick all the time when I have been eating it for the last 41 years. I was at my whits end with being sick and getting no answers from the doctors. They made me feel like the entire problem was in my head. Of course I really wish it was cause I would have made it go away.
I have been on this diet since May 2010 and it is working great for me. I don't get sick every time I eat something, I have more energy, and I feel so much better.
Of course now if I could get rid of all my stress and worries I would feel WONDERFUL.... But what is life without stress and worries.
Until next time, take care

AB blood type and eating

Since the last post on AB blood type I have done some research and found out that there are diets based on your blood type.  I changed my diet according to my blood type and it has been helping.  I do not get sick every time I eat and the pains, bloating, and diarrhea have reduced.  This diet is still new to me so we will see if it continues to work.
After reading about the diet, it makes sense to me and explains a lot of things.  However I wonder why the doctors don't tell you about this before they put you through all kinds of testing to tell you everything is normal.

I have undergone so many test since May 2010 and they have all come back to be normal, which in turn made me feel like they either did not believe me or that it was all in my head.  That is why I continued to do some research and found the diets per blood type.
For those of you that might be interested in checking this out, here is the website for you. Good luck

Blood Type AB Negative

Blood Type AB Negative is very rare. Less than 1 percent of the population in the United States have AB Blood Type.     I have AB Negative Blood and I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not having AB Blood can have an effect on your health issues.  I get sick a lot and the doctors have done all kinds of test. The doctors  say everything comes back negative but I am still sick often. Since November I have had Chronic Diarrhea, very queasey stomache, and I am always running a low grade fever. I have done research on this and know the basics but have not been able to find anything regarding health issues.  Feel free to leave a commit if you wish.
